Forget gender-political correctness – they’re different. 100% of parents and teachers, and nearly all objective scientific studies agree – boys and girls think differently, play differently, choose products differently.

Boys are predominantly visual, so don’t expect them to read anything. They’re also highly physical, so no point in reaching out with emotional cues – just stuff they can kick, race or shoot with. Girls on the other hand are far more interested in social interactions and empathy with others. They have better verbal skills, taste and touch sensitivity, and they are clearly genetically programmed to adore the colour pink. Not really, that must be Barbie’s fault.

Here the parents of girls and boys get a different choice of pasta, including the green one for those who don’t want to reinforce gender stereotypes, or don’t fancy having to cook two different pans for Max and Sophie.
